FAQ


Can I bring my own food and drink?

There will be food from local caterers and drinks on sale as well as some other movie treats to try. Please come along, sample the goodies of the West Country enjoy the festivities and keep whatever food you would have brought for another time!

 

What if the event is cancelled?

In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled we will contact you to let you know, so please check your emails leading up to the evening. Especially if there is a hurricane predicted! We will then give you the opportunity to exchange your tickets for an alternative screening.

 

Can I get a refund?

Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded or returned and all ticket purchases are final. The Mystery Lights Cinema does not provide refunds for booking the wrong film, if the ticket holder is no longer able to attend or is refused entry due to not meeting the terms & conditions.

 

Will there be toilets?

WRFC has toilets and depending on the amount of people that attend there will be portaloos on standby. Some will be permanent and others will be hired in.  If you have any concerns please feel free to contact us.

 

Is there disabled access?

We will do our upmost to make the event as accessible as possible.  Please feel free to email us with your chosen venue so that we can provide additional information and assistance if required.

 

Are credit cards accepted at the event?

We will have credit card facilities available in the clubhouse, however outdoor vendors may only take cash. Please come prepared.

 

Can I buy tickets on the door?

You won’t be able to pay for a ticket on the door. However you can buy tickets online and use your reference number to gain access to the event as long as its not sold out.

 

When will my tickets arrive?

Gone are the days when you had to wait for the postman to deliver your tickets.  Simply present your confirmation email and the card you made the purchase with to gain access to the venue.

 

Can I bring my dog?

No, dogs are not permitted at our events out of respect to other audience members.  We apologise for any inconvenience.

 

Can I bring a BBQ?

Unfortunately BBQ’s are prohibited.

Can children attend?

Guardians of the Galaxy is rated a 12A movie. Films rated 12A are suitable for children aged 12 and over. However, people younger than 12 may see a 12A so long as they are accompanied by an adult. In such circumstances, responsibility for allowing a child under 12 to view lies with the accompanying adult.

 

What happens when it rains?

The event will always go ahead in the event of bad weather. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Great British Summer. Screenings will only be cancelled if the weather conditions present a danger at screening time.

 

How will I hear the film amongst the other noises of the festival?

If you buy a ticket that includes the screening you will be provided with headphones to use for the duration for the film. The headphones will have to be returned at the end of the night
